I finally found something to do with all of those $.55/1 Mentos gum coupons I've been saving up. Safeway has Mentos gum on sale for $.99 through Tuesday. I could have done a little better if I'd put a filler item into my cart so I wouldn't have an overage, but I still did fine.
$3.96 for 4 Mentos Gum @ $.99 =
-$2.20: Manuf coupons $.55 * 4
-$1.50 Safeway Doubles (he only doubled 3 because otherwise he would have owed me $$)
Net: $.26 for 4 bottles of Mentos gum (could have been 3 if I'd thought ahead and put in a filler to use up my overage)
