Thanks The Coupon Project for this tip on a great deal on Mr. Potato Head at Toys R Us! Even if you don't need this for your child, consider picking up one or two to donate to one of the many toy drives for the less fortunate children who may not get much of a Christmas. If they are out of stock you might be able to get a rain check.

I headed over to pick up a couple of them around 4:30 and they were out (the sale started at 3 pm). One of the employees told me that people showed up early in the day and put them in their carts and then checked out at 3. I was told that rain checks were not available for this doorbuster item.
