Walgreens $5/$25 coupon in 11/8 paper

I'll come back with some good Walgreens deals, but be sure to hold onto the $5/$25 for some good deals this week.  It is off $25 after all coupons so I'm assuming that means I can't pay the $20 with Register Rewards.  Still, if you keep your transaction to $25 exactly (or as close as possible) you can at least make some money with the Register Rewards.  I'll come back with some scenarios later.

There is another sheet of printable Walgreens coupons here including Neosporin ($3 off), Trident Layers ($.99), Swiss Miss ($.99) and more!

Here is a full list of the best deals at Walgreens and their corresponding coupons.

You can use the $5/$25 any way you want.  Either to get stuff free, make money or just reduce the price on things you need to purchase.  Here are some examples:

Moneymaker:
$9.99 - Almay Pure Blends Foundation ($10 RR)
$4.00 - Dulcolax ($7 - $3 coupon) ($4 RR + $5 rebate)
$2.49 - Robitussin To Go ($2.49 RR)
$2.37 - Lubriderm (Buy three 6oz @ $3.79, use three $2/1 from here and or 10/11 insert; use $1/1 from
Diabetes and You Winter Issue available in store - this will take $1 off of each 1) ($8 RR)
$2.00 - Theraflu (Buy two at $5; use $2/1 from 10/18; use $2/1 from Healthy Savings Booklet available in-
             store - takes $2 off each one) ($3 $$)
--------
$20.85
$5.00 (other items you want/need)

-------
$25.85
-$5.00 ($5/$25 in Walgreens ad)
-------
$20.85 Out Of Pocket (OOP)

Get Back:
$27.49 in Register Rewards (RR)
$5 Rebate (Dulcolax)

Now, this scenario is a bit complicated.  Usually there are more Free After Register Rewards items so it would be easier but you see how you can buy some random items (some you may use, some you may give away or donate) to make money for other items.  In this scenario you spend $20 and have $32.49 to spend on what you REALLY wanted.

Scenario 2: Useful Household Stuff

$1.50 - Scrubbing Bubbles Bathroom Cleaner ($2.50 - $1/1 from 11/1 insert or home mailer)
$1.50 - Windex ($2.50 - $1/1 here)
$2.50 - Fantastik Cleaner
$1.98 - 2 doz eggs
$2.97 - 3 15 oz. cans of Libby's pumpkin
$6.49 - Jumbo Pack Huggies Diapers ($8.99 - $1/1 from Walgreen's Coloring book available in-store for
$.99 - has many more coupons that can be kept & reused multiple times; -$1.50/1 here)
$7.99 - Zicam Cold Relief ($9.99 - $2/1 coupon here) $3 RR
$6.00 - Misc. J&J baby products (see printable $1 off coupons here)
------
$25 (approx)
-$5  Sunday paper ad coupon
------
$20 OOP (approx)
-$5  Submit for $5 SC Johnson Rebate
-$3  RR from Zicam
-----
$12 Net OOP

If you go to Walgreen's this week, post in the comments what you spent & what you saved.  I love to see my friends saving money!

  1. Walgreens wouldn't let me combine the $1.50 off MFC and the $2.00 walgreen coupon today. :( They said the walgreen's coupon is a MFC.
