Have you ever heard of Recyclebank? They reward consumers for learning about and taking action on recycling initiatives. They make it really fun & easy and you get cool stuff!
They have surveys and games sometimes where you can earn free points, plus in some areas of the country you can earn points just for the recycling you do everyday at the curb. If your local garbage hauler is not part of the program, Recyclebank has a form letter you can use to request that your community get involved.
Click on the Recyclebank link, sign up and start earning points. I just used some of my points to get some $2/1 Kashi cereal coupons! They have a "special" right now where you can get these for only 50 points and it's REALLY easy to earn points with surveys and stuff.
