7 days of Albertsons doubles starting 2-2

For all my crazy friends who love when Albertsons has double coupons, I got a sneak peek at the 2-2 ad (for Oregon at least) and there are SEVEN DAYS of doubles!  Now, I didn't see a ton of screaming deals but I did see a few and I know more will show up so get your sleep now because doubles here we come!

Here are a couple of notable deals I liked:

Campbell's Select Harvest Soups: $.99
Use $1/2 from here = FREE with doubles

Chunky Healthy Request Soups: $.99
Use $1/2 from here = FREE with doubles

Chunky Soup: $.99

Comment with any great deals you find in-store!

Doubles + Two catalina deals that go along with the hot General Mills promo at Albertsons

There will be doubles at Albertsons this weekend so that makes the General Mills deal just a little bit hotter!  They will double up to three coupons up to $1 per transaction.  The doubles technically say "One set of doubles per shopping trip" so you may have to leave the store and come back in to do multiple transactions.  West Linn said they'd do 3 transactions then you have to leave & come back (just out the doors to your car and back in).

I have not tried these myself yet, but just found a couple of catalina deals that go nicely with this if they are working in our area.  Thanks Hot Coupon World for these tips!

$1/2 Planters Printable coupon

Become a Fan of Mr. Peanut on Facebook, then click on the "NCAA Sweeps" tab to access your $1/2 coupon.  You can use the back button & refresh to print another copy.  Use this with the sale at Albertsons this week to score some Planters peanuts for around $1 a jar.  The coupons don't say "do not double" so hopefully there will be doubles this Sunday!

Request your Albertsons (or other SuperValu store) coupon book

Head on over here to enter your information and request a FREE coupon book via snail mail.  I always request these because they usually have higher value coupons than you can get elsewhere and I usually score free or cheap stuff when these are paired with a sale!

Thanks Hip2Save!

Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks deal on Wednesday

Starting Wednesday Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks will be $1 (thanks for the tip Frugal Living).  If you use the printable coupons your out of pocket will be $.10 per box. If you can find the $1/2 peelies mentioned below this will be a moneymaker and you'll have to get $.50 of filler to use your catalina (I generally buy a couple of apples or bananas in each transaction).  The following catalina promotion is also running right now:

Buy 4 get $2.50 catalina
Buy 5 get $3.50 catalina

Use two $.50/2 from here
Pay $4 and get $3.50 catalina
$.10 each after coupons & catalina

This catalina will roll to the next transaction

Buy 5 boxes of fruit snacks

Use $3.50 catalina from above

Keep rolling until you run out of time, money or space!

I'm not sure about all of the Albertsons but the West Linn manager is good about putting coupons on products and there may be $1/2 coupons on these packages.  Please keep in mind that the store, not the manufacturer, puts these coupons out to bring more business to their store so please use them at this store (per manager's request).

Also, for fun, the West Linn Albertsons is trying to raise $2,500 for Muscular Dystrophy by selling the Shamrocks (they come with a coupon attached, I think).  If they meet their goal the manager has agreed to a green mohawk so stop in & support their efforts!

Lots of FREE Activia Yogurt

So there are some coupons & sales that can be combined with an Activia rebate to give you LOTS of Activia yogurt for FREE!

• There were $1/1 Activia Yogurt coupons in the 2-7 & 1-10 SS
• You also may be able to print two here (not sure if this was a one-time use or not) and here (if you can't print these, when you sign up for the Activia Challenge here you'll get your own printable coupons emailed to you)

Print off the rebate form here and then buy up to $12 worth of Activia Yogurt before 3/31/10.  Submit the receipts with the rebate form & 1 clean Activia lid for reimbursement of actual price paid up to $12.

Albertsons has Activia on sale for $1.99 this week (thanks reader Jen) and they have doubles out.  You could get some Activia free that way, but then there would be no rebate.  You could just use the $1/1 coupons and buy 12 four-packs for $11.88 (after the $1/1 coupon) or 6 four-packs for $11.94 and have the full purchase price reimbursed with the rebate.

Albertsons Doubles in this Sunday's paper!

Yeah!  After 2 weeks of Albertsons doubles I was a little sad to have none this week (although a bit relieved since I've spent FAR too much time at Albertsons).  I just read that there should be an ad in this Sunday's paper with 10/$10 deals on one side & three doubles on the other.  Now, we won't know for sure until the paper comes out, but it's looking good!  Yeah!  I'll check back with some scenarios later.

Celestial Seasonings tea is $2 through today at Albertsons.  Use the $1/1 Celestial Seasonings tea from this last Sunday's Smart Source plus a double coupon to get any Celestial Seasonings tea free!
