Here are some summer reading programs I thought I'd share. Please respond if you know of more!
Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program: Kids read any 8 books and record them in the downloadable reading journal, then get to choose 1 free book from the B&N list!
Borders Double Dog Dare Summer Reading Program: Kids 12 and under read any 10 books on the downloadable form, then take it to Borders to pick out a free book from the specified list.
H-E Buddy Reading Program: Read 10 books and mail in the form listing the books read to get a cool prize!
Chuck E. Cheese Reading Program: Earn free tokens (with pizza purchase) at Chuck E. Cheese for reading and other activities
Scholastic Summer Reading Program: Log reading minutes for a chance to win a free Klutz book pack.
Gladstone Library Summer Reading Program: Check with your local library to see what cool summer reading program they offer!
Oh, and just for fun, check here to see if your local Regal Cinema is offering $1 morning movies a couple of days a week. Hopefully the weather will be just too beautiful to be cooped up inside, but in case it rains.....
Clackamas Libraries have a summer reading program--get a prize pack for signing up! Plus free activities during the summer. http://www.co.clackamas.or.us/lib/summer.htm
